MEET BAILEY

Posh Beauty Co is owned by hair and makeup artist Bailey Watson. Bailey is the newest makeup artist for Manda Renee Boudoir and we could not be happier!! We love her work and we know you will too.

We asked Bailey a few questions for this blog today… Enjoy 🙂

What do you do for fun?

“I love going to movies, trivia nights, binging Netflix and having a glass of wine. I also love me a little retail therapy.”

What’s your greatest makeup tip?

“My greatest tip is to BLEND BLEND BLEND. Always prep your skin with a good primer. Lashes are a must for a good finished makeup application.”

What’s the biggest makeup mistake you see people make?

“Overdoing eyeliner and brows. Too thick of liner can make the eyes appear smaller and can take away from the lashes and shadow. I also think brows can be overdone. You don’t ever want to create a “new brow”, the goal should be to even out, shape, add pigment and texture to the brows.”

Do you have any products you love that we may not know about?

“I absolutely LOVE Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift. It’s a little pricier at $69 but skin care is so crucial in a good makeup application and I recommend it for everyone. It was also last you months as you only need a small amount when you apply.

I also love Morphe Continuous Setting Mist. It’s amazing, works great and is only $16. Setting your makeup is so important to insure the longevity of your finished look.

Another great product that I use in almost every single application is the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Eye Shadow Palette. The colors are gorgeous, it can be used for a variety of different looks and rings in at $39 which is amazing for a palette with 35 color variations.

Lastly, my all time favorite lip color is Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick in the shade “Queen B”. It’s GORGEOUS. I use it for all apps: boudoir, bridal, fashion, maternity etc. It costs around $21 and lasts forever. Worth the investment.
