“I booked my Lake St Louis Boudoir shoot for myself, but of course I knew my husband would love them. Manda did my wedding photography and I built a relationship with her then in 2014. She announced she was booking boudoir sessions and my first thought was it sounded like a lot of fun and why not give it a try.

A lot of people do not realize that body image issues affects women of all sizes. I was teased growing up about being too thin. I’ve always struggled gaining and maintaining my weight. So, going in to the session I was a little nervous, but what I learned was that it is so much more than “just a photo shoot”. Manda talks to you about your insecurities, what you love about yourself and your body, what make YOU feel sexy. She LISTENS! As a result, I have now done 3 sessions with her! 🙂 I walk around with a different kind of confidence now. My first reaction to seeing my images was holy F&#$, I need them ALL!
