I recently was talking with a client of mine about a friend’s husband that doesn’t support a boudoir session. She told me about a discussion that she found herself in recently, and I wanted to share about it with you guys. Why? Because, I feel like many women have found themselves having the same conversations with their own friends!
Here’s what happened.
Recently, a client of mine was with a few of her friends, sitting around a fire talking all things life and someone brought up boudoir. One of the husbands in the group said, “boudoir photos are stupid, why would I pay for what I see all the time?”

I have – I see things like this ALL the time!
To these people, I have a simple answer.
Boudoir sessions are not about sex, they aren’t about gratification for the woman in front of the camera or for whomever the photos are a gift for. Sure, boudoir photos are sexy and that in itself can be gratifying, but that is absolutely not why anyone should have a boudoir session.
The truth is: boudoir shoots are all about self-love and confidence.
